Donations and tributes.memorial boulder

The Memorial Courtyard is a focal point for donors who wish to make a gift to pay tribute to a deceased member of the Binghamton University community. Memorials are limited to people who had a relationship to the Binghamton University community, including faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends of the University.

  • Gifts of $500 or more recognize the donor who may honor a deceased member of the University community on the donor recognition display at the courtyard entrance.
  • Gifts of $1,000 or more may honor a deceased member of the University community, whose name will be inscribed on a bronze plaque and affixed to the memorial boulder in the Courtyard.

Donations to the Memorial Courtyard will be placed in a special fund dedicated to the construction and maintenance of the courtyard. Gifts of any size are appreciated. Gifts of materials, landscape plantings and other properties required by the design of the courtyard are also welcome. Gifts of $500 or more will be acknowledged on the donor recognition display at the entrance to the Courtyard.
